Reformer Pilates forms the foundation of everything we do, helping members build control, stability, mobility and body awareness. This is then supported through instructor-led strength and cardio sessions that challenge the body in a progressive, functional and sustainable way, while every class incorporates our fourth pillar, Core & Mobility.
Unlike traditional gyms or many boutique reformer studios, every session at CrossTheAbyss is 100% instructor-led within a premium small-group environment.

Meet The Founder

Skylar Moulds
Founder and Lead Instructor
Founded by Skylar, CrossTheAbyss was created from a passion for helping people become stronger, healthier and more confident through movement. Alongside her background in fitness and Reformer Pilates, Skylar also comes from a competitive Muay Thai background, where discipline, resilience and high-performance training became central to her approach to health and coaching.
Skylar is a qualified Level 2 Gym Instructor, Level 3 Personal Trainer and certified Reformer Pilates Instructor, who has recently left her role as a group fitness instructor and reformer pilates teacher at Ragdale Hall Spa, one of the UK’s leading wellness environments, to launch her own studio and bring her vision for CrossTheAbyss to life.
Her vision for CrossTheAbyss is to bridge the gap between traditional gyms and boutique reformer studios by creating a premium small-group training experience built around expert coaching, progression and community.

Our Class Bundles provide a simple and flexible way to attend CrossTheAbyss classes, allowing you to purchase credits in advance and use them whenever it suits you.
